The film had already stunned the industry with its opening weekend performance, collecting $360 million domestically and $932 million worldwide. Those figures established the biggest domestic opening in box office history while also securing one of the largest global debuts ever recorded.

It also set new benchmarks for preview screenings and opening-day collections, reflecting exceptional audience demand before settling into a remarkably strong weekday run.

With positive audience reactions and relatively limited competition in the coming weeks, industry analysts expect the film to continue adding to its worldwide total. India emerges as a major contributor

The film has also maintained an impressive pace in India.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the superhero spectacle collected Rs 21.50 crore net on its first Tuesday, taking its six-day India net total to Rs 303.25 crore, while the gross collection reached Rs 362.61 crore.

The film continued to attract audiences across multiple language formats, with English and Hindi 3D screenings recording particularly strong occupancy levels throughout the day.

Hollywood's billion-dollar streak gathers pace

The success of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has further strengthened what is shaping up to be Hollywood's strongest theatrical year since before the pandemic.

The Tom Holland starrer has become the fourth film of 2026 to cross the $1 billion mark, joining 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie', 'Michael' and 'Toy Story 5'. Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' is also closing in on the milestone after nearing $1 billion globally.
