SPB is my God; he will come back, says actress Khushbu in emotional video

Music lovers around the globe are praying for veteran singer SP Balasubramanyam who is in critical condition after turning COVID positive. Now, popular Kollywood actress Khushbu shared a video dedicated to the singer on her Instagram page.

In the emotional video, she addressed SPB as her God and asserted that he will come back after defeating COVID-19.

“I can not imagine a world without him. He is connected with my day-to-day life. Every day, I listen to his music. In my phone, I have saved his contact number as ‘SPB the God’. I treat him as my God. Crores of his fans like me are waiting for his comeback. He is hospitalized after turning COVID positive. Doctors say he is in critical condition. But he will definitely comeback.,” said Khushbu in the video.

“Come back sir, sing more songs. We are waiting for you, get well soon,” added Khushbu concluding her video.

SPB (74) was admitted to MGM Healthcare on August 5 with Covid-19 symptoms.

In a statement issued here the hospital said on August 13, SPB's condition deteriorated and based on the advice of the expert medical team attending to him, he has been moved to the intensive care unit (ICU). The hospital said SPB is on life support system and his condition remains critical.

He is currently under the observation of a team of experts from critical care and his haemodynamic and clinical parameters are being closely monitored, a bulletin released by MGM Healthcare said.

Sources close to his family stated that he is stable and that there was nothing to worry about his condition.
