Sonu Sood continues humanitarian efforts, announces donations for orphanages from directorial debut

Sonu Sood, an actor known for his philanthropic initiatives during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, has once again stepped forward with a noble gesture. During the pandemic, he assisted thousands of migrant workers in returning to their homes, booking chartered flights and buses for those stranded during the 2020 lockdown. Recently, he appealed to Indian citizens on Twitter to help rescue Indians stuck in Bangladesh.
Now, the actor has made another promise. He has announced that the collections from his upcoming movie Fateh will be donated to orphanages. Sood also revealed that the movie aims to raise awareness about staying safe from cyber fraud.
Fateh is based on cybercrime, addressing the challenges people frequently face with online scams. "People often fall victim to cyber fraud. This film is an action-packed take on this issue, educating people on how to stay safe from such scams. It’s a movie made for the people of this country. The collections from the film will be donated to old age homes and orphanages," Sonu Sood said.
Produced under the banners of Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions, Fateh also marks Sonu Sood’s directorial debut. The movie is slated for release in theatres on January 10, 2025.
The teaser for the film was recently unveiled by the production team and shared by the actor on his social media platforms.
