Sonam Kapoor expecting second child with Anand Ahuja: Reports

Actress Sonam Kapoor is reportedly expecting her second child with husband businessman Anand Ahuja, according to entertainment portal Pinkvilla. 

A source told Pinkvilla, “Sonam is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, and the news has brought immense joy to both families.”

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May 2018 after years of dating and welcomed their first child, son Vayu, in August 2022. Since then, Kapoor has shared glimpses of her motherhood journey while balancing her career in films.

Kapoor had earlier said about motherhood, “I will try to do the best I can as a mother, which means that acting will definitely take a backseat, but I don't think I will ever stop working completely.”

Sonam Kapoor returning to Bollywood?

The pregnancy news comes as Kapoor is reportedly planning a grand comeback to the big screen later this year. Speaking to the media, the actress revealed that her first project after becoming a mother will go on floors in the last quarter of 2025. Kapoor was last seen in the 2023 OTT film Blind.
