Marivillin Gopurangal: Film producer files complaint against YouTuber Ashwanth Kok

Producer Siyad Koker has filed a complaint against YouTuber Aswanth Kok. The complaint, lodged with the city police commissioner, accuses Ashwanth Kok of 'review bombing' the movie "Marivillin Gopurangal," which is alleged to have negatively impacted the film's reception.

Siyad Koker has expressed his discontent with the YouTuber's actions, stating that such behaviour could lead to a loss of credibility and respect for the film industry. The producer has also reportedly threatened to take matters into his own hands if the authorities do not respond to the complaint.

The controversy escalated after Kok posted a video review of "Marivillin Gopurangal" and allegedly criticised filmmakers and crew members. The video was later removed from YouTube following Koker's intervention. However, Koker has stated that this is not enough and that legal action is necessary to address the issue.

Koker has called for collective action against those who engage in review bombing, emphasising the need for integrity and respect within the industry.
