Actor Sreenivasan makes comeback to movies, starts shooting of ‘Kurukkan’

Actor, scriptwriter and director Sreenivasan who was taking a break from the films due to health issues is back in the industry with a new film. On Sunday, the actor started the shooting of ‘Kurukkan’, directed by debutant Jayalal Divakaran.

The puja ceremony for the movie was held at St Albert’s High School, Kochi. The film marks Sreenivasan’s comeback to showbiz after the 2019 release ‘Love Action Drama’.

At the ceremony, Tamima Nasrin lit the lamp, followed by an official switch-on ceremony by former DGP Loknath Behera. The first clap was given by director M Mohanan. 

The film will feature Vineeth Sreenivasan, Shine Tom Chacko and Sruthy Jayan in lead roles. The screenplay is by ‘Minnaminungu’ fame Manoj Ramsingh.

Cinematographer Jibu Jacob and editor Ranjan Abraham are also associated with the movie.
