Shine Tom Chacko’s smoking poster for ‘The Protector’ turns heads amid drug case row

The makers of Shine Tom Chacko's upcoming film has dropped first look poster of amid controversies and ongoing investigations surrounding the actor's alleged involvement in drug case.
'The protector' poster, unveiled by the makers, shows Shine in a gritty avatar, cigarette burning on his lips, with an arresting tagline that reads: "Ningalil paapam cheyyathavar kalleriyatte" (Let him who is without sin cast the first stone). The biblical quote is a bold, pointed choice, especially in light of the real-life headlines the actor has found himself in lately.
Directed by GM Manu and produced by Robins Mathew under the banner of Ambat Films, 'The Protector' appears to position Shine as a complex, possibly morally grey character—perhaps mirroring the shadows currently cast over his off-screen life.
The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring seasoned names like Thalaivasal Vijay, Motta Rajendran, Sudheer Karamana, Manikuttan, Sivaji Guruvayur, Unniraja, Diana, Kajol Johnson, Devi Chandana, Shanthakumari, and Seema Madhu. The script is penned by Ajesh Antony.
Behind the scenes, the technical team includes cinematographer Rajeesh Raman, editor Tahir Hamza, and music director Jinosh Antony.
