Why did Shankar Mahadev, Hariharan reject Nora, Tamannaah’s dance at their musical event?

Renowned Indian singers Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan, and Hariharan are set to headline the upcoming concert series, Triveni: Three Master Performers. The concerts, organised by MH Films, will take place in Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Indore this December, aiming to showcase the richness and depth of Indian music.
However, a recent development has sparked some debate. Event organiser Manish Harishankar proposed including Bollywood actors Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia as guest performers for the event. But the trio of singers, known for their commitment to classical and soulful Indian music, reportedly rejected this idea.
According to sources, the singers are firm about their vision for Triveni, pointed out that the event should focus solely on Indian music and its artistry. They believe that including Bollywood stars like Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia would divert attention from the core purpose of the concerts. The singers also suggested that if guest performers were to be included, they should be fellow musicians who align with the spirit of the event.
Manish Harishankar confirmed that he had contacted the managers of Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia to check their availability and performance costs, but the singers' stance remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, both Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia have been busy with other projects. Tamannaah recently starred in the Netflix film Sikandar Ka Muqaddar, a heist thriller directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film, which also features Avinash Tiwary, Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta, and Zoya Afroz, began streaming on November 29.
Nora Fatehi, known for her dance performances, has also been in the spotlight with her recent appearance in Madgaon Express, a comedy film starring Kunal Kemmu. Additionally, Nora made her Telugu debut in the film Matka, alongside Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary. She has also been promoting her latest music video, Aaye Haaye, with Punjabi singer Karan Aujla, which has made its way onto the music charts.
