Shah Rukh Khan on Hurun Global Rich List alongside Jay-Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift & Michael Jordan
Washington: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has once again secured a spot on the Hurun Global Rich List, underlining his standing not only as one of cinema’s biggest stars but also as a significant business figure.
According to the list released on March 5, Khan’s net worth is estimated at USD 1.3 billion (around Rs 10,800 crore). The wealth calculations for the ranking were assessed up to January 15.
India currently ranks third globally with 308 billionaires, while China and the United States lead the list with 1,110 and 1,000 billionaires respectively.
The ranking also features several global celebrities, including music stars Jay-Z with a net worth of USD 2.8 billion, Taylor Swift with USD 1.6 billion and Rihanna with USD 1.5 billion. Among sports personalities, basketball legend Michael Jordan tops the list with an estimated wealth of USD 3.6 billion, followed by golfer Tiger Woods with USD 1.9 billion.
Wealth dipped from last year?
Although Khan remains on the list, his wealth has dipped slightly compared to last year. In 2025, his net worth was estimated at around USD 1.4 billion (Rs 12,490 crore), when his fortune briefly surpassed that of Swift, who had an estimated USD 1.3 billion at the time. This year, however, Swift has moved ahead of the Bollywood star.
Apart from Khan, film producer Namit Malhotra, known for backing the upcoming film Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor has also entered the list for the first time with an estimated wealth of USD 1 billion (around Rs 9,204 crore).

Meanwhile, industrialist Mukesh Ambani remains India’s richest individual, with an estimated fortune of about Rs 9.8 lakh crore, placing him 17th globally. Gautam Adani follows as the second-richest Indian, ranked 23rd worldwide with a net worth of around Rs 7.5 lakh crore.
On the professional front, Khan will next appear in King, directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously collaborated with him on Pathaan. The film will also mark the theatrical debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. The ensemble cast includes Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Akshay Oberoi and Saurabh Shukla.
