Save the Date! Anna Prasad–Althaf Salim starrer ‘Innocent’ shows off wedding-themed poster

The much-anticipated reunion of Althaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar, following their popular collaboration in "Mandakini", is set to delight audiences once again with the comedy entertainer "Innocent". The film’s release announcement poster, released on Monday, captures a festive mood with a wedding-themed 'Save the Date' design, featuring Althaf alongside Anna Prasad. "Innocent" is scheduled for a global theatrical release on November 7. 

Earlier promotional materials, including the first- and second-look posters, generated considerable buzz by introducing social media sensation Kili Paul, a Tanzanian native making his acting debut. The recently unveiled trailer suggests a light-hearted narrative suitable for all ages, promising laughter and celebration.

Kili Paul has already won attention with his viral performance of the classical song 'Kakke Kakke Koodevide…', which transitions seamlessly into the upbeat track 'Pottas Pottitheri…'. Musical highlights from the film include 'Athishayam', sung by rising talents Hanan Shaah and Nithya Mammen, which has quickly gained popularity, and the folk-inspired 'Ambampo…' by Reshma Raghavendra, which had also attracted online attention.

The ensemble cast of "Innocent" features Joemon Jyothir, Azees Nedumangad, Mithun, Noby, Anna Prasad, Lakshmy Sanju, Vineeth Thattil, Ashwin Vijayan, Unni Lalu, among others, promising a lively and engaging performance.

Produced by M Sriraj AKD under Elements of Cinema, the film marks the institute’s first production venture. Elements of Cinema is known for providing students hands-on filmmaking experience while working with established actors. The film is directed by Satheesh Thanvi, with Shihab Karunagappally credited for the story and the screenplay and dialogues developed collaboratively by Shihab, Sarji Vijayan, and Satheesh Thanvi.

Cinematography is handled by Nikhil S Praveen, while Jay Stellar provides the musical score.
