Mumbai: At the trailer launch of Sikandar in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Salman Khan addressed the media, stating that he and his family have faced enough controversies and want to stay away from them.

When asked about the trend of controversies surrounding film releases and whether they help in movie promotions, Salman responded lightheartedly.

"We have been through so many controversies, we don’t want any more. I just want my family to live a life without controversies. And I personally don’t believe that controversies make a movie successful," he said with folded hands and a laugh.

Acknowledging the reality of controversies in the industry, he added, "There are still a few days left for Sikandar's release, and I just hope there’s no controversy this time, even though it has become common these days. It happened with our film Loveyatri as well. We really don’t want any controversy. Our family has seen enough of it. We just want a peaceful time."

Salman also shared a touching moment about his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, attending the event. He revealed that his father’s presence surprised the entire family.

"The love and respect he has earned is still intact. When I was leaving for the event, he told me he wanted to join. Everyone in the family was surprised and asked what had happened. When he arrived, he even climbed more than 8-10 steps to sit behind and observe the press reaction," Salman said.

The event was filled with nostalgia and family sentiments as Salman reiterated his wish to keep both his personal and professional life free from controversy.
