In a stunning turn at the box office, debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have taken Bollywood by storm with their romantic drama Saiyaara. The film has now outshone Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express (2013) in domestic box office collections.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk.com, Saiyaara had yet another stellar Sunday, collecting over ₹30 crore within 10 days of its release. With this, the film’s total domestic collection stands at an impressive ₹247.25 crore.

Chennai Express, the 2013 Rohit Shetty directorial starring Shah Rukh Khan, had earned ₹227 crore in India over its theatrical run. While that figure remains as a huge achievement, especially considering the time it was released, Saiyaara appears poised to soar well past it by the end of its run.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s second weekend performance on Twitter and wrote, “SPLENDID SATURDAY – 'SAIYAARA' REMAINS A MAJOR FORCE... Saiyaara continues its triumphant run, now eyeing the ₹ 300 cr milestone after crossing ₹ 200 cr on its second Saturday [Day 9]. Now comes the best part: Saiyaara's *second* Saturday is HIGHER than its *first* Saturday [₹ 26.25 cr] – a remarkable feat and a rarity in today's times. There's just no stopping this blockbuster! Saiyaara [Week 2] Fri 18.50 cr, Sat 27 cr. Total: ₹ 220.75 cr.”

Meanwhile, actor Ahaan Panday has dedicated a special post for his fans and thanked everyone for their support for the movie. "One week of Saiyaara, thank you for the love," he wrote on Instagram as Saiyaara completed one week of release.

Saiyaara, directed by Mohit suri, is a musical love story, featuring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, that follows the heartfelt journey of a young singer and lyricist as they navigate the highs and lows of love, success, heartbreak, and personal growth.
