Actor‑singer Rishabh Tandon dies of heart attack in Delhi aged 32

New Delhi: Acclaimed actor‑singer, Rishabh Tandon, also known by his stage name ‘Faqeer’, has died in Delhi after reportedly suffering a heart attack. He was in the city to celebrate Diwali with his family.
According to media reports, a former team member confirmed Tandon’s sudden passing and said both his family and well‑wishers are in complete shock.
Tandon had returned to composing music in 2020 after a decade-long break follwing the release of his first album. He was recognised for his musical contributions to ‘Rashna: The Ray of Light’ (2017), and ‘Rishabh Tandon: Ishq Fakeerana’ (2025), and as an actor in ‘Faqeer – Living Limitless’ (2017). Having been based in Mumbai with his wife, Tandon had returned to Delhi for the festival.
He had been working on many unreleased songs prior to his death, as per reports. During his career, he was not only recognised for his artistic talents, but also garnered media interest for aspects of his personal life. He was once the subject of romance rumours with fellow actor Sara Khan. Sara reportedlty dismissed the speculation later on. In time, Tandon married Olesya Nedobegova, a Russian national.
The family has asked for time and space to grieve.
