Release date for Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' announced

The release date for the much-awaited epic movie 'Indian 2' has been revealed. Director Shankar has confirmed that the film will hit theatres on July 12 this year.

Shankar has also announced that the first song of the film will be launched on May 22. There are also roumurs about the potential release of 'Indian 3' six months after 'Indian 2' hits the screens.

'Indian 2' is the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster 'Indian', which shattered box office records. The sequel features a stellar cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, and Bobby Simha, among others. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Ravi Varman handles cinematography of the film while Sreekar Prasad takes on the editing duties.
