Harrasment claim false, hotel wasn't open in 2012, says director Ranjith's lawyer

Kozhikode: Filmmaker Ranjith's lawyer has claimed that the harassment complaint lodged by a young man from Kozhikode is false. The complaint alleges that the incident occurred in 2012 at the Taj Hotel near Bangalore Airport. However, the lawyer argues that the complaint is unsubstantiated, as the hotel was not inaugurated until 2015.

The young man had previously alleged that Ranjith molested him at the hotel in 2012. In response to these allegations, Ranjith sought anticipatory bail, which was granted by the District and Sessions Judge of Kozhikode. The anticipatory bail is currently valid for 30 days.
