It features Ram in the leading role alongside Janhvi Kapoor as the female protagonist. ‘Peddi’ will mark the second Telugu venture for Janhvi, after ‘Devara - Part 1’, while it’s the 16th movie that will be led by Ram.

Meet the rest of the ‘Peddi’ team:

Apart from Ram and Janhvi in the leading roles, ‘Peddi’ will also feature Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and ‘Mirzapur’ actor Divyenndu Sharma. Initially titled as ‘RC16’, ‘Peddi’ is produced by Venkata Satish Killaru under his production banner Vriddhi Cinemas. When is ‘Peddi’ releasing in cinema halls?

According to multiple media reports, ‘Peddi’ was initially slated for a theatrical release in 2025. However, the film’s release has been pushed to March 2026, although noofficial date has been announced yet. If reports are to be believed, the delay in its release has been caused due to a request made by the OTT giant Netflix, which holds the post-theatrical rights of the movie.
