Samantha to Ramya Krishnan, stars recreate Ravi Varma paintings

South film stars including youngsters Samantha Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, senior stars Ramya Krishnan and Khushbu Sundar turned models to recreate Ravi Varma paintings. Photographer G Venket Ram recreated 12 stunning paintings to beautiful photos for a calendar.

The calendar which dedicates exclusively for celebration of empowering women was an initiative of NAAM charitable trust founded by actress Suhasini Maniratnam.

Tollywood star Lakshmi Manchu and Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh also featured in the calendar.

Bringing art to life, costume stylist Amrita Ram and make up artist Sadhna Ram have given importance to classical beauty to make the stars resemble the models on the paintings.

The calender was officially launched on Monday in Chennai.
