Hyderabad, Telangana: A complaint has been filed against popular Telugu film personalities, including actor Rana Daggubati and his family members, in connection with the demolition of a property in Filmnagar, Hyderabad.

The complaint, filed by K Nandukumar, names actor Daggubati Venkatesh, his brother and film producer Daggubati Suresh Babu and sons, Rana Daggubati and Abhiram Daggubati, as the accused in the case. Nandukumar claims that the accused conspired to illegally take over a property he had leased from them. He further alleges that he had invested around Rs 20 crores in renovating the property. Despite having a valid lease agreement, Nandukumar says the accused attempted to evict him and demolish parts of the property.

Allegations of threats, demolition attempts

In his complaint, Nandukumar alleges that the accused hired "anti-social elements" to demolish parts of the property and threatened his family members with serious consequences. The property had been leased to Nandukumar in 2014, and the lease agreements were renewed several times. Nandukumar claims he maintained possession of the property under court injunctions, but the accused allegedly tried to demolish it multiple times in 2024.

Nandukumar also mentioned that he had approached the police earlier, but no action was taken on his complaint. As a result, the case has been registered under sections 448, 452, and 458, along with section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The matter is now pending before the court, and further investigations are ongoing.
