The trailer of the much-anticipated Bollywood film Sarzameen has been unveiled, offering a powerful glimpse into a gripping family drama set against the tense backdrop of Kashmir. Featuring Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran as Army officer Vijay Menon, the film explores deep emotional and ideological conflicts within a family torn apart by national duty.

Kajol plays the wife of Prithviraj’s character, while the trailer strongly hints that Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, portrays their on-screen son. The central narrative revolves around a deeply strained father-son relationship, with Kajol’s character caught in the emotional crossfire.

A standout moment from the trailer is a stirring line delivered by Prithviraj: “There is nothing more important to me than the safety of my motherland... even if it's my son...” The trailer also showcases high-octane action sequences, indicating that terrorism and national conflict form key themes in the story.

Directed by Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani and backed by Karan Johar, Sarzameen is all set to release on JioCinema on July 25. The film is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, in collaboration with Star Studios, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Hiroo Yash Johar. The screenplay and story are penned by Saumil Shukla and Arun Singh, while Kamaljeet Negi handles the cinematography. Editing is by Samyuktha Kasa and Nitin Baid. The film’s music is composed by Vishal Khurana and Vishal Mishra, with the background score by Tanuj Tiku.

With a promising cast, emotional depth, and action-packed visuals, Sarzameen is shaping up to be a gripping patriotic thriller that blends family drama with national duty.
