Family refutes reports on sale of Prem Nazir's house

Thiruvananthapuram: ‘Evergreen actor’ Prem Nazir's family has dismissed the rumours that the actor's house is put for sale. Talking to mathrubhumi.com, Prem Nazir's daughter Laila's husband Rasheed termed the rumour baseless.
"We don't know who cooked up the news. Media also reported this false news. It is baseless," said Rasheed.
"The house is owned by Prem Nazir's younger daughter Reetha. She is settled in the US with her family. I don't know whether she is planning to renovate the house," he added.
It was reported that the family is planning to sell the house as there is nobody to take care of the property.
The two-storey house of Prem Nazir is situated near Kattumurakkal bridge on Korani road in Chirayinkeezhu. Though the house is over 60 years old, it is not in a dilapidated condition.
Interestingly, numerous people are visiting the house even after 31 years of Prem Nazir's demise.
The natives have been demanding to convert the house into a memorial of Prem Nazir.
