Prabhas, Maruthi launch ‘The RajaSaab’ teaser in specially built haunted haveli

The much-anticipated teaser of ‘The RajaSaab,’ starring Rebel Star Prabhas, was launched on Monday in an elaborate event designed to immerse attendees in the film’s dark and fantastical world.
The teaser was revealed inside a specially constructed set designed as a sprawling haunted haveli, complete with fog, flickering lights and eerie corridors. The setup offered a preview of the gothic universe envisioned by director Maruthi, blending folklore, horror and fantasy.
Backed by music composer Thaman S’s intense score, the teaser showcases Prabhas in two contrasting avatars — one energetic and charismatic, the other steeped in mystery and mysticism.
“This wasn’t just a teaser drop — it was a sensory spectacle,” the organisers said, highlighting the immersive nature of the event. The launch was attended by Prabhas, director Maruthi, producer TG Vishwa Prasad and music director Thaman S.
“With ‘The RajaSaab,’ we wanted to build something massive, something India hasn’t seen. The sets, the scale, the story — everything is crafted to pull audiences into this fantastical world,” said producer TG Vishwa Prasad. “Launching the teaser within the haveli itself gave it life — it felt like we were stepping into the movie before it even released.”
Director Maruthi described the film as a “genre-defying journey,” adding: “It flows between horror and fantasy, the real and the surreal. At its heart, it’s about emotion, but surrounded by magic, mystery and madness.”
Alongside Prabhas, the film features Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar. Produced by People Media Factory, ‘The RajaSaab’ is slated for theatrical release on December 5, 2025 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
