Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha welcome baby boy: ‘Arms full, hearts fuller’

Actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party politician Raghav Chadha have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on 19 October 2025. The couple shared the joyful news with their followers on Choti Diwali through a joint post on Instagram.

The heartwarming announcement featured an image of a baby crib, accompanied by the caption: “He’s finally here!... our Baby Boy... And we literally can’t remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything. With gratitude, Parineeti and Raghav.”

Parineeti was admitted to a hospital in Delhi earlier in the day, with Raghav Chadha by her side. The birth of their son comes months after the pair first revealed they were expecting. The pregnancy was announced via a tender Instagram post featuring a painting of tiny baby feet, captioned: “Our little universe on its way... Blessed beyond measure.”

A Private Romance, A Grand Wedding

Parineeti and Raghav’s relationship has captured public interest ever since their surprise engagement on 13 May 2023 in New Delhi. The couple tied the knot later that year on 24 September in Udaipur, in a lavish yet intimate ceremony attended by close family and select figures from both the film and political spheres. Reports indicate the two had been dating privately before making their relationship public.

While Parineeti’s cousin, global star Priyanka Chopra, was present at the engagement, she was unable to attend the wedding due to professional commitments.

Parineeti’s Latest Work

Professionally, Parineeti was last seen in the 2024 Netflix musical drama Amar Singh Chamkila, where she starred opposite Diljit Dosanjh. The film portrayed the life and love story of Punjabi singer Chamkila and his wife, Amarjot Kaur. It received praise for its music and performances, and also featured Apinderdeep Singh, Anjum Batra, Nisha Bano, and Kumud Mishra in key roles.
