Chennai (Tamil Nadu): The trailer of actor Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Parasakthi was released on Sunday, giving audiences a first look at a politically charged narrative rooted in Tamil Nadu’s long-standing opposition to Hindi imposition.

Written and directed by Sudha Kongara, the film features Sivakarthikeyan in the lead alongside Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela.

Running three minutes and 16 seconds, the trailer sets the tone with a tense confrontation between Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan atop a moving train, signalling the ideological conflict at the heart of the story.

The trailer highlights the raging protests against the Central Government for the Hindi imposition in Tamil Nadu. Atharvaa Murali plays the younger brother of Sivakarthikeyan's character, whose decision to join the agitation initially creates tension within the family.

Sivakarthikeyan delivers a strong performance, with impactful dialogue and playful chemistry with Sreeleela.
