With releases spanning genres and languages, streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV and Zee5 are gearing up for a packed week of binge-worthy entertainment.

Mercy for None

A gritty tale of vengeance takes centre stage in ‘Mercy for None,’ which premieres on Netflix on June 6. The action film follows Nam Gi-joon, a reformed gangster who is pulled back into the underworld after his brother's brutal murder. Seeking justice, he embarks on a violent quest that stirs up his past. Starring So Ji-sub, Huh Joon-ho, Ahn Kil-kang, Lee Beom-su and Gong Myoung, the film is directed by Nam Gi-joon himself.

The Survivors

This Australian limited series, based on Jane Harper’s best-selling novel, unfolds in the quiet town of Evelyn Bay, Tasmania. ‘The Survivors’ follows Kieran Elliott (Charlie Vickers), who returns to his hometown after years away to care for his ailing father. The discovery of a young woman’s body reopens old wounds connected to a deadly storm years earlier. The series lands on Netflix on June 6.

Straw

Tyler Perry’s latest directorial outing ‘Straw’ hits Netflix on June 6. This psychological thriller explores the downward spiral of a single mother, played by Taraji P. Henson, whose life is derailed by a series of crises that push her to a shocking turning point. The cast also features Sherri Shepherd and Teyana Taylor in prominent roles.

Titan: The Oceangate Disaster

This gripping Netflix documentary revisits the ill-fated Titan submersible’s 2023 expedition to the Titanic wreck. ‘Titan: The Oceangate Disaster’ examines the ambitions of OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush and the disastrous consequences of pushing technological limits in the deep sea. Streaming begins June 11.

Our Times

Time travel meets emotional complexity in ‘Our Times,’ a Netflix film that debuts on June 11. Two physicists find themselves stranded in the future, facing an unfamiliar world and a transformed relationship as they attempt to return home. The sci-fi drama stars Lucero, Benny Ibarra and Renata Vaca.

K.O.

Set in Marseille, this French-language action film follows a disgraced MMA fighter who is drawn into a dangerous world of crime. When he agrees to help the widow of an opponent he once fatally injured in the ring, he faces a violent gang and his own inner demons. ‘K.O.’ premieres on Netflix on June 6.

Jaat

After its theatrical release in April, ‘Jaat’ is now streaming on Netflix from June 5. The film stars Sunny Deol as Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh, who rises to defend a coastal Andhra village from a brutal gangster named Ranatunga (Randeep Hooda). Directed with an intense action focus, the film also features Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher and Vineet Kumar Singh.

Bhool Chuk Maaf

Landing on Prime Video on June 6, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ is a romantic comedy with a quirky twist. Rajkummar Rao plays Ranjan, a groom-to-be trapped in a bizarre time loop on the day of his Haldi ceremony. Co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi, Seema Pahwa and Sanjay Mishra, the film brings humour and heart set against the cultural backdrop of Varanasi.

Chhal Kapat: The Deception

A wedding turns into a murder mystery in Zee5’s ‘Chhal Kapat: The Deception,’ releasing on June 6. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar stars as a determined police officer investigating the killing of an influencer, exposing betrayals and secrets among close friends. Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, the show combines crime, drama and suspense.

The Accountant 2

Ben Affleck returns as the enigmatic Christian Wolff in ‘The Accountant 2,’ now streaming on Prime Video as of June 5. When Treasury Director Ray King is assassinated, Agent Medina calls in Wolff for help. Reuniting with his merciless brother Braxton (Jon Bernthal), Wolff uncovers a deadly conspiracy.
