Singer Neha Kakkar has put up an Instagram story following the backlash she received over her delayed concert in Melbourne.

"Wait for the truth, you'll regret judging me so quickly," she wrote, leaving fans speculating about the reasons behind her late arrival at the event.

The singer, who was reportedly three hours late for the concert, faced frustration from the crowd, with some members shouting "go back" as they waited.

Once on stage, an emotional Kakkar apologised to her fans, expressing her regret for making them wait. “You have been really sweet and patient waiting for so long. I hate it. I’ve never made anyone wait in my life,” she said, visibly upset. “I’m so sorry. You mean the world to me. I was so worried about what would happen, but this means a lot to me. I’ll always remember this evening forever.”

Despite her heartfelt apology, many fans remained dissatisfied, with some accusing her of "drama" and labelling the concert a “waste of time and money.” One fan even posted a photo of Kakkar on stage, highlighting the late start and calling it unprofessional.

Known for hits like "Buhe Vich," "Kaala Chashma," and "Manali Trance," Kakkar performed in Melbourne a day after her show in Sydney.
