‘My heart is full,’ says man of the moment Nivin Pauly as Sarvam Maya enters Rs 50cr club

Touted as Nivin Pauly’s comeback film, Sarvam Maya, which hit theatres worldwide as a Christmas release, is working wonders at the box office, having reportedly grossed over Rs 50 crore globally — a significant milestone for a Malayalam film.

The film, which treads the horror-comedy genre, is sparking laughter in theatres and bringing smiles to its makers. It features an ensemble cast including Aju Varghese, Janardhanan, Riya Shibu and Preity Mukhundhan, apart from the leading man himself, Nivin Pauly.

Directed by Akhil Sathyan, whose latest venture comes after Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum starring Fahadh Faasil, the film is being hailed for its lighter moments, cinematography and the charming, out-of-the-box performance by show-stealer Riya Shibu.

Nivin is back in form and shoulders the film for most of its runtime, while the rest of the cast breeze through their roles.
