Newly married actress Athmiya Rajan opens up about her love story

‘Joseph’ fame actress Athmiya Rajan entered wedlock with boyfriend Sanoop this January. In an interview with Mathrubhumi Star and Style, the actress opened up about her love story.

“Though we studied in the same college, I had not met him during my college days. Unexpectedly, I received Sanoop’s message one day. Later, we became good friends. Finally, our friendship led to the marriage in January,” said Athmiya.

Athmiya and her husband Sanoop are Kannur natives. Both completed graduation from the same college in Mangaluru.

“When I completed my graduation, I entered the film industry with the Tamil movie ‘Manam Kothi Paravai’ in 2012. After watching the movie, Sanoop had sent a message to me and introduced himself as an old collegemate. We started our friendship on that day. After two-years long romance, we revealed the matter to our parents. At first, they were not ready to accept our love. But later, both families agreed for our marriage,” Athmiya opened up.

“Actually, we had a secret marriage. Even our natives had no idea about our love story,” said Athmiya.
