Vijay’s 'Master' to have OTT release on Jan 29

Kollywood star Vijay’s latest movie ‘Master’ will have worldwide OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. According to reports, the movie will stream on Amazon Prime Video from January 29 onwards.

Popular actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing the role of the antagonist in the movie.

Fans of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi welcomed the OTT release as many of them failed to watch the movie in theatres due to the growing concerns of COVID-19.

The movie has set a record as the first movie to have a theatrical release after the reopening of the theatres amid the COVID crisis.

The big-budget movie of Rs 130 cr was released on January 13.  According to reports, the movie earned a record collection of over Rs 220 cr within a few weeks from its release.

‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators. Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, Arjun Das, Gauri G Kishan and Shanthnu Bhagyaraj are playing lead roles in the movie.

Songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander are another highlight of the movie.
