Mohanlal returns in police uniform; Binu Pappu joins as creative director for Aashiq Usman Productions L365

Preparations are progressing for L365, the new big-budget project produced by Aashiq Usman Productions with Lalettan (Mohanlal) in the lead. According to the latest update, Binu Pappu—who has impressed audiences with his memorable characters—has now joined the film as Creative Director.

The film is directed by Dan Austin Thomas. Known for Thallumaala and Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, and having served as the Chief Associate Director of Anjaam Pathiraa, his experience adds strength to the project.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues are penned by Ratheesh Ravi. After Adi and Ishq, L365 becomes another major script from the writer. This is also the biggest-budget film under the Aashiq Usman Productions banner after Thanda Vibe and Torpedo.

After hits like Thudarum and Empuraan, the news of Mohanlal returning in a police role after a long gap has already created a huge buzz on social media. The released poster shows the film’s title L365 and crew details scribbled on a washbasin mirror. A police shirt hanging nearby has left fans even more excited about Lalettan’s look.

Another major highlight is that L365 marks the first time Mohanlal is starring as the lead in a film produced under the Aashiq Usman Productions banner.

The makers have announced that the film’s shoot will begin soon. And the one question fans are eagerly waiting to be answered: “When will Mohanlal return in his stylish khaki uniform?”
