Mohanlal as cop on Sabarimala duty? ‘Athimanoharam’ first look unveiled

Kochi: The title of Mohanlal’s upcoming film, tentatively known as L366, has been officially revealed as ‘Athimanoharam’. The announcement was made on the occasion of Vishu, surprising fans as the title was unveiled at exactly 10:10 a.m. on social media.

Ever since the project was announced, the film had been referred to as L366, marking the collaboration between Mohanlal and director Tharun Moorthy, backed by producer Ashiq Usman.

Along with the title reveal, the makers also released the first-look poster featuring Mohanlal in a police avatar, standing among Ayyappa devotees on a pilgrimage route. The look has already generated significant buzz, with fans and the Malayalam film industry welcoming it enthusiastically. Fans were quick to speculate that the film could be set around the Sabarimala pilgrimage season. Some also suggested it might explore the lives of police personnel during their special duty at the Sannidhanam.

Athimanoharam marks Mohanlal’s next collaboration with Tharun Moorthy after the success of Thudarum. The film is being produced under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions, marking the production house’s first project with the superstar.

The screenplay is written by Ratheesh Ravi, while the cinematography is handled by Shaji Kumar. Music for the film is composed by Jakes Bejoy. The technical crew also includes editor Vivek Harshan, sound designer Vishnu Govind, art director Gokuldas, and costume designer Mashar Hamsa.
