Abhaya wrote, "I know the paths of your music well. It all began with the countless Tamil songs played by your mother on the Ceylon radio and it has been an exciting journey ever since then. May she always be with you, guiding your way. I believe the energy to overcome this pain will come from the universe itself. May your wounds heal through her."

Livi Suresh Babu, Gopi Sundar’s mother, passed away on Thursday in Thrissur at the age of 65. Gopi Sundar had earlier shared the news on social media, paying tribute to his mother as his strength and guiding light. In a post, he expressed that his mother was always his source of power and direction.
