Mallika Prasad is an acclaimed actor, theatre artist and director. Born in Bengaluru, she holds a Master’s degree in Performance Making from Goldsmiths, University of London. She later trained at the National School of Drama (NSD), earning a postgraduate diploma in acting.

Her acting journey began in cinema with the 1999 film Kanooru Heggadithi.

Apart from acting, Mallika Prasad is also a filmmaker. Her short film For My Ela received Outstanding Achievement Awards at multiple international film festivals including Sundarban International Film Festival and LA Indie Short Film Festival.
