Mammootty’s unique click of 'Bulbul' up for auction: Bid to start at Rs 1 lakh

Actor Mammootty's stunning photograph of an 'Indian bulbul' is set to be auctioned on June 30. The picture, which has garnered significant attention on social media, is currently on display at the 'Padiparakkunna Malayalam' exhibition at the Durbar Art Gallery in Kochi.

The minimum bid for Mammootty’s photograph is Rs 1 lakh. This exhibition is part of the birth centenary celebrations of the Indian ornithologist and writer Induchoodan.

Known for his passion for photography, Mammootty posted pictures of his interests during the pandemic. His photograph featuring a common brown-coloured bulbul with a distinctive red vent perched on a broad leaf against a clear blue sky has gained wide momentum on social media. The actor poetically captioned the image: ‘A heart bubbling with joy and a restless tongue’.

The exhibition, which opened on June 27, showcases a total of 61 photographs by 23 talented photographers.
