After days of silence, Mammootty has reacted on the recent allegations of sexual abuse and assault in the Malayalam film industry. In a Facebook post, he addressed the ongoing issues and the role of organizations and leaders in responding to these concerns.

He expressed full support for the Justice Hema Committee, which was established by the government to investigate the film industry and provide recommendations for improvement. Mammootty called for all film industry associations to unite in implementing these recommendations and ensuring justice.
