Malayalam serial actress Dr Priya passes away

Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam television serial actress Dr Priya passed away due to a heart attack on Wednesday. She was eight months into her pregnancy. Her newborn baby is currently in the intensive care unit of a hospital.

According to a Facebook post shared by actor-cum-anchor Kishor Satya, she had undergone a regular pregnancy check-up at the hospital recently before she suffered a heart attack.

The tragic news comes days after the TV industry lost actress Renjusha Menon (35) who died by suicide at her flat at Sreekariyam in Thiruvananthapuram.
