RDX producers accused of financial fraud amounting to crores

A financial fraud complaint has been filed against the producers of the Malayalam movie "RDX Robert Dony Xavier," which was released in 2023 and directed by Nahas Hidayath.

Anjana Abraham, a resident of Tripunithura, has lodged a complaint against the film's producers, Sophia Paul and James Paul. This incident comes shortly after similar allegations were made against the producers of the hit movie "Manjummel Boys."

The complaint alleges that the producers failed to distribute the promised profit margins to stakeholders. Anjana Abraham claims to have invested Rs. 6 crore in the production of the film. She states that she was promised a full return on her investment along with 30% of the total profit. However, she alleges that she only received her invested money after repeated pleas. 

Meanwhile, "RDX Robert Dony Xavier" performed well at the box office and was a commercial success. Anjana also alleges that she was kept in the dark about the amount for which the film's satellite rights were sold.
