The excitement surrounding 'L2 Empuraan,' the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster 'Lucifer,' has reached new heights after director Prithviraj Sukumaran teased fans with an update about the film’s teaser. The Mohanlal-starrer, slated for release on March 27, 2025, is in its final stages of production, and cinephiles are eagerly counting down the days.

Prithviraj recently took to his official social media handles to share a snapshot of a music player screen showing the title ‘Empuraan teaser final music.’ This confirms that the teaser is complete with a thrilling score by Deepak Dev, who also composed music for the first installment. Fans are particularly intrigued by the teaser’s runtime of two minutes and 31 seconds. The teaser is expected to complete censor formalities in the coming days.

Reuniting Mohanlal and Prithviraj, 'Empuraan' boasts an ensemble cast, including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Arjun Das, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Fazil, and Sachin Khedekar. The screenplay, penned by Murali Gopy, ensures continuity from the first film, while Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas jointly back the project.
