The team behind Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra has publicly thanked lyricist Vinayak Sasikumar for suggesting the name of the franchise. The appreciation was shared through Wayfarer Films' official social media handles—Dulquer Salmaan’s production banner that backed the film.

“Thank you Vinayak Sasikumar for suggesting the name Lokah. An invitation to a new world, a name that fully captures the essence of the franchise,” read the post from Wayfarer.

Co-screenwriter Shanti Balachandran had earlier revealed that the credit for the name goes entirely to Sasikumar. Speaking in an interview, she said, “Vinayak suggested the name while working on the song ‘Shoka Mookam’ from the film. We had several names in front of us, but none of them felt right. Since we are introducing an entirely new world, Lokah felt the most fitting.”

Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra, directed by Dominic Arun, is the first installment in a five-part cinematic universe. The film has been performing exceptionally well at the box office, having crossed ₹200 crore in collections so far, and continues to set new records.
