As the release of L2: Empuraan, the highly awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster 'Lucifer', approaches on March 27, fans are in a frenzy, not just for the film but for the exciting 'black dress code' proposed by Aashirvad Cinemas.

The idea has set social media ablaze, with nearly 92% of fans voting in favor of the dress code in a recent poll on social media platform X. The initiative has become the talk of the town, with fans eagerly gearing up for the film’s release in coordinated black outfits.

Aashirvad Cinemas initiated the call for a black dress code through a poll, and the overwhelming response from the fanbase was nothing short of explosive. Many fans flooded the comment section with messages of excitement, with one writing, “We’ve already planned this for Bangalore fans show,” and another exclaiming, “Hell yeah!”

Actor and director Prithviraj Sukumaran, who stars alongside Mohanlal in L2: Empuraan, also supported the dress code. Prithviraj took to social media to assure fans, saying, “I’m in! I will take responsibility for bringing Lalettan (Mohanlal) too.” His mention further fueled the excitement.

With fans flocking to online ticketing platforms, L2: Empuraan is expected to dominate the box office, not just in Kerala, but across India. The film stars Mohanlal in the lead role as Khureshi Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally, and features a stellar cast that includes Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Jerome Flynn, whose appearance has added international appeal due to his fame from Game of Thrones. The film also boasts an ensemble cast with actors like Saikumar, Andrea Tivader, Abhimanyu Singh, Saniya Iyappan, and others.
