‘Love and salute from your HUSBAND ON DUTY’: Kunchacko Boban shares heartfelt message

Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban shared a heartfelt message expressing gratitude to his wife, Priya, as his latest film ‘Officer on Duty’ continues to receive acclaim. Taking to Instagram, Boban posted a touching note alongside a picture of Priya dozing on his shoulder, acknowledging her unwavering support throughout his journey.

The actor, who plays a committed police officer in the film, captioned the post:

"Officer On Duty With His Beauty. I know how much you yearned for this acceptance my love!! You have been my constant support, critic, friend, tension-breaker and the biggest fan!!!"

Boban further dedicated the film’s success to his wife, adding:

"And this success is more deserving for you!! Love and salute from your OFFICER …or rather, HUSBAND ON DUTY. And a big, big thank you to each and everyone who made OFFICER ON DUTY the biggie in my life.”

'Officer on Duty,' which explores a socially significant theme, has been drawing audiences of all age groups to cinemas.

The recently released Malayalam thriller ‘Officer on Duty’ has been receiving positive reviews, with audiences praising its gripping narrative and stellar performances. Directed by Jithu Ashraf, the investigative drama hit theatres on 20 February 2025 and quickly gained traction, leading to additional late-night screenings across Kerala.

Penned by Shahi Kabir, known for ‘Nayattu’ and ‘Joseph,' the film stars Priyamani in the female lead role. It also features actors Jagadish, Vishak Nair, Manoj KU, Srikant Murali, Unni Lalu, and Ramzan in pivotal roles.

Roby Varghese Raj, the cinematographer of ‘Kannur Squad,’ handled the visuals for ‘Officer on Duty,’ while Jakes Bejoy composed the music and Chaman Chakko managed the editing. The film is backed by producers Martin Prakkat, Renjith Nair, and Siby Chavara.
