When asked if Amal Neerad mentioned Bilal during the filming of Bougainvillea, Kunchacko responded that viewers might catch a glimpse of it in the film's end credits, suggesting fans should stay tuned. His comment elicited laughter from fellow cast members Jyothirmayi, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda, as well as from Kunchacko himself.

Kunchacko was also asked if he would be part of Bilal. He expressed his enthusiasm for the film, saying he, like many fans, is eagerly awaiting more details but currently has no further information. He added that he would be thrilled to be involved in Bilal and hopes for the best.

Bougainvillea is set to release in theatres on the 17th of this month, featuring Sharaf u Dheen in another role. The screenplay is co-written by Lajo Jose, known for his gripping crime thrillers, and Amal Neerad.
