'Grrr’ box office collection: Kunchacko Boban starrer records decent figures on opening day

Kunchacko Boban starrer 'Grrr' received a theatrical release on Friday (June 15). The film, directed by Jay K, received an impressive response on the first day of release. 

According to Sacnilk, the movie collected around Rs 0.75 Cr India net on the opening day. The film continues to do well at the theatres, with reports indicating that box office figures will see a surge in the coming days. 

Apart from Kunchacko Boban, Suraj Venjaramoodu also plays a pivotal role in 'Grrr' directed by Jay K. 'Grrr' is co-produced by Cineholix. 

Kunchacko Boban portrays a man who jumps into the den of a lion named Darshan at the Trivandrum Zoo. The film also features Mojo the lion as Darshan, one of the pivotal characters. Mojo has featured in several Hollywood and Bollywood productions before. Scripted by Jay K in collaboration with Praveen S, the film also features Director Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval as the production designer.
