KJ Yesudas is 'absolutely fine’, son responds to hospital rumours

Legendary playback singer KJ Yesudas has been making headlines with rumours that the veteran singer had been hospitalised in Chennai due to age-related health issues. However, his son, Vijay Yesudas responded to the news and stated that the singer is in good health.
"There is no truth to the reports of hospitalisation," said the singer.
According to India Today, sources close to the singer also confirmed that he is in good health and is currently in the United States of America.
Yesudas, who celebrated his 85th birthday on January 10, was showered with love from fans all over the world. Social media was flooded with heartfelt wishes, along with playlists dedicated to the maestro’s timeless hits. With a career spanning six decades, Yesudas has recorded over 50,000 songs across multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Odia.
He has also sung in English, Arabic, Latin, and Russian. Yesudas holds the record for receiving the National Award for Best Male Playback Singer eight times. He also set a record by singing 11 songs in different languages in a single day.
