9 years since Kalabhavan Mani's untimely death: Mohanlal and Mammootty pay tribute

Kochi: It has been nine years since the untimely death of Kalabhavan Mani, one of Malayalam Cinema's most cherished and versatile artists. Known for his dynamic presence, Mani began his career as a comedian, but quickly became renowned for his powerful performances as both villain and hero. His passing on March 5, 2016, left a void in the film industry and the hearts of his countless fans.

Mohanlal and Mammootty, two of the biggest stars in Malayalam cinema, took to social media to remember the late actor. Both shared heartfelt tributes on Facebook, captioning the post as "Ormapookal" (Memorial Flowers).

Kalabhavan Mani's journey in the film industry began with a modest role as an auto driver in the film Aksharam. His breakthrough came with the character of a toddy tapper Rajappan in Sallapam, which showcased his unique talent and charisma.
