This month's slate brings the return of popular franchises alongside highly anticipated new originals, with memory-loss romances, billionaire detectives, psychological mysteries and coming-of-age stories all making their way to streaming platforms.

Here's a look at the Korean dramas arriving this month.

My Bias, My Boss

Premiering on Rakuten Viki on August 3, ‘My Bias, My Boss’ stars Kim Hye-jun, Cha Woo-min and Kang Hoon in a workplace romance. The series follows a young woman who gives up a coveted corporate career to work at a fashion start-up alongside the idol she has admired for more than a decade. Her dream job, however, takes an unexpected turn when she repeatedly clashes with the company's CEO, setting the stage for a complicated office love triangle.

Flex x Cop 2

The crime drama returns on JioHotstar on August 7, with Ahn Bo-hyun reprising his role as wealthy detective Jin I-soo. Fresh from police academy training, he rejoins the Violent Crimes Unit only to find himself working under a strict new team leader, played by Jung Eun-chae, who has little patience for his unconventional methods. As a serial killer emerges, the pair must overcome their differences to crack a dangerous case.

Our Sticky Love

Streaming on Netflix from August 7, the romantic comedy stars Ha Young and Jung Hae-in. After a prosecutor loses her memory in an accident, she wakes up in a remote village with no recollection of her past. A former boxer who once loved her claims to be her boyfriend in an effort to shield her from a ruthless criminal organisation, and their fabricated relationship gradually begins to feel real.

New Recruit (Season 4)

The latest season of the military comedy is expected to premiere on Rakuten Viki on August 24. Park Min-seok has now risen to the rank of corporal, but his new responsibilities bring fresh pressure as discipline tightens under a demanding battalion commander. Internal rivalries, disruptive recruits and growing tensions once again throw barracks life into disarray.

Mousetrap

Arriving on Netflix on August 28, this psychological thriller stars Ryu Jun-yeol and Sul Kyung-gu. The story follows a reclusive novelist whose identity, finances and reputation are stolen by an elusive figure known as "Rat". Determined to reclaim his life, he joins forces with a hardened loan shark and private investigator in a dangerous pursuit driven by revenge.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas

The coming-of-age music drama premieres on Netflix on August 29. Featuring Song Kang, Lee Jun-young and Jang Gyu-ri, the series unfolds at an elite arts high school, where an accomplished pianist finds his ambitions challenged by a gifted newcomer. As competition intensifies, the students also navigate friendship, personal growth and first love.
