Tiger who? Jackie Shroff hijacks iconic ‘choti bachchi ho kya’ line, internet goes wild

The recently released trailer of Housefull 5 has quickly gone viral, not only for its star-studded cast but also for a hilarious moment where Jackie Shroff playfully references his son Tiger Shroff’s now-famous dialogue, ‘Choti bachchi ho kya’.
This has sparked widespread laughter, particularly among fans from Kerala and Tamil Nadu, who have taken to social media to share their amusement.
The comedy film, starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh, follows a chaotic cruise journey filled with accidents and a murder mystery, revolving around the search for the real ‘Jolly’ who is set to inherit a 69-billion-rupee fortune. Adding to the fun, Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt reunite as a cop duo, reminiscent of their chemistry in the film Khalnayak.
In one memorable scene, Jackie Shroff abruptly halts his speeding vehicle when he spots a baby in a pram crossing the road with her mother. Reacting with his trademark wit, he asks, “Choti bachchi hai kya?”—a phrase originally delivered by Tiger Shroff in his debut film Heropanti (2014). The line has since become a meme favourite, thanks in part to Tiger’s unintentionally humorous delivery.
Fans on social media have delighted in Jackie Shroff’s playful nod to his son’s iconic dialogue. Comments like “Baap ne bete ki dialogue copy kar liya” (Father copied son’s dialogue) and “Epic line chhoti bachchi hai kya?” have trended widely.
Housefull 5 boasts an ensemble cast including Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and others. The film is scheduled for release on June 6, promising to deliver a mix of laughter, action, and mystery.
