'It’s hard to describe Lalettan!' 'Pani' actor talks about crucial advice he received from Mohanlal

Kochi: Actor Bobby Kurian, who delivered a compelling performance as 'Davi' in Joju George’s directorial debut Pani, discusses the support he received from the industry before taking on this challenging role.
The film, currently running successfully in theaters, features an impressive cast that includes former Bigg Boss contestants Sagar, Junaiz, singer Abhaya Hiranmayi, and Sujith Shankar, alongside over sixty newcomers making their acting debuts.
In a promotional interview with Silly Monks Mollywood, Bobby talked about having conversations with renowned figures in the industry, including Mohanlal, Vijayaraghavan, and Johnny Antony, prior to accepting the role.
Bobby recounted his visit to Mohanlal, describing the energizing experience of being in his presence. "It’s hard to describe Laleettan; his energy gives you a spirit. Before acting in 'Pani,' I met him," Bobby noted. He also sought guidance from Vijayaraghavan, who provided considerable support.
Mohanlal reassured him with words of encouragement, saying, "Don’t be afraid, my boy; you’ll manage." Bobby maintained frequent communication with other industry veterans during the filming process, highlighting the collective support he received from the film community.
