Kochi: Actor Dhyan Sreenivasan has expressed his deep admiration for the works of his brother Vineeth Sreenivasan, particularly highlighting his film, "Thattathin Marayathu," as his all-time favourite.

Dhyan, who made his entry into the film industry through the movie "Thira," directed by Vineeth, quickly carved a niche for himself in a short span, contributing to numerous films. He showcased his directorial skills with Nivin Pauly starrer "Love Action Drama."

This year, Dhyan starred alongside Pranav Mohanlal in Vineeth Sreenivasan's film "Varshangalkku Shesham," which was well-received in theatres but faced considerable criticism after its OTT release.

Reflecting on his experience, Dhyan revealed, "My favourite film of Vineeth is undoubtedly 'Thattathin Marayathu.' It was during this film that I truly realised the extent of his talent."

He reminisced about watching the film without any preconceived notions, saying, "I had no idea about the film's concept—just a basic understanding. I watched it at the Apsara theatre in Kozhikode, and I truly enjoyed it."

Dhyan's admiration for Vineeth’s storytelling and direction showcases the lasting impact of "Thattathin Marayathu," solidifying its status as a memorable film in Malayalam cinema. (With inputs from Agencies)
