‘If I do that it will mean I have nothing more to achieve in life’: Keerthy recalls special conversation with Dhanush

Acclaimed actor Keerthy Suresh is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Revolver Rita. The film, touted to be a dark comedy action entertainer, is directed by JK Chandru. It features an ensemble cast including Radhika Sarathkumar, Redin Kingsley, and Mime Gopi.
During one of the promotional interviews for Revolver Rita, the National Award–winning actor candidly spoke about her connection with Kollywood superstar Dhanush, with whom she shared screen space in the 2016 film Thodari.
Speaking to Suryan FM, Keerthy recalled a conversation in which she had asked Dhanush to write a book on his Hollywood and Bollywood experiences. However, it was the actor’s humble response that left a lasting impression on her.
“Dhanush sir told me that if he writes a book, it would mean that he has achieved everything in life and that there is nothing more left, which he wouldn’t want to imply,” Keerthy said, adding that his answer was inspiring and continues to motivate her to strive for excellence in her craft.
“When someone as seasoned and successful as him says something like that, it really puts things into perspective. It makes me feel as though I’m only just starting out. I learn something new every day, and growing is part of the process—especially when it comes from recognising and learning from your mistakes,” said the top heroine.
Keerthy’s admiration for Dhanush is yet another example of the camaraderie in the film industry, which often paves the way for greater artistic collaborations. (With inputs from Agencies)
