'Do not trust anyone...', Actor Usha Haseena's old interview goes viral

Amid sexual harassment allegations continuing to surface against various actors in the Malayalam film industry, an old interview with actress Usha Haseena from 1992 has started gaining attention on social media.
In the interview, Usha candidly spoke about the darker side of the industry, describing it as a "mafia group" and warning others to be cautious.
"I have not had any good experiences in the film industry," Usha said in the interview.
"I want to warn newcomers and those who have been safe so far..don't trust anyone in this industry. Be very careful. Malayalam cinema is like a mafia gang. It's easy to get trapped in this Bermuda Triangle. I got caught up, and I had an accident. I'm speaking from experience. Actors need to be extremely careful," she added.
Following the release of the Hema Committee report, which investigated issues of harassment in Malayalam cinema, Usha had strongly reacted, particularly questioning why superstars like Mammootty and Mohanlal remained silent.
She also criticised a recent statement by another actress, who downplayed the harassment allegations.
"When you're appointed to represent women by the executive committee, you should address women's issues seriously and bring in people who speak straightforwardly. What she said wasprobably due to a lack of knowledge, but it was not right."
"When she said, 'I'm not here talking to you because someone knocked on my door, but a commission has alleged that such things have happened to women who work with me. It has never happened to me, so…' I couldn’t accept that," Usha said.
However, Usha praised actor Jagadish for his response.
"Jagadishettan spoke very positively. I was very happy to hear his words. His response showed the maturity of being a teacher and a father of two daughters. He always reacts similarly whenever a problem arises." the actor added.
